Awesome! That is the word we use over and over again to describe our experience with Russ Hyde and Hydeco
Custom Pools and Spas. The results of our pool and yard project are even better than we had hoped. The stone
wall with the lighted sheer descents is the highlight of the pool. The pebble plaster in the pool is so
beautiful, especially when the sun shines on it, coloring the water dark blue. The new deck made of stamped
concrete is such an improvement over the rough aggregate we had before and pulls the whole look of the backyard
together. And beyond the beauty of the pool and deck, Russ corrected drainage and leakage issues, some we did
not even know about until his skilled eye notice them. In addition to Russ' knowledge and expertise, the
workers who created the wall and installed the pool coping are true craftsmen, examining each stone for the best
overall effect. We really appreciate that all the crews worked diligently while they were here, sometimes
very long hours, and always cleaned up before they left for the day. Ultimately, the pool and deck were
completed in about six weeks.
In addition to the pool and deck, Russ planned the landscaping, and coordinated and managed the ground
preparation and planting. We had some very specific ideas for the landscaping and Russ listened very well to
our requests and incorporated them into the final plan. Again, the landscape crew worked tirelessly to complete
the work in a short amount of time. The results are spectacular.
Another aspect that we really appreciate was Russ informing us about what was to happen each day and his daily
presence as the work was done. He demanded the highest quality at all times. That is important to us since we
have invested in a house remodel and now the backyard and we plan to enjoy the renovations for many, many years.
We highly recommend Russ and his company for any pool remodeling and/or landscaping projects. He is a dedicated
business man with exceptional knowledge about pools and yards.
